- After shampooing, gently squeeze excess water out of your hair.
- Apply a generous amount from mid-lengths to ends, where hair is driest.
- Detangle with your fingers or a wide-tooth comb while it's in.
- Leave it on for 3–4 minutes so the moisture can sink in. For extra-dry hair, leave it on up to 6 minutes.
- Rinse with cool or lukewarm water.
For best results: Follow with BATANICA Raw Batana Oil.

What makes it different from a regular conditioner?
Most conditioners coat your hair so it feels soft for a day. Ours is infused with batana oil and made to soothe and repair, giving deep moisture your hair actually holds onto between washes.
Will it weigh my hair down or make it greasy?
Not when you use it on your mid-lengths and ends, where hair is driest. It rinses clean and leaves hair soft, smooth and light, not slick.
How long should I leave it in?
Three to five minutes. If your hair is very dry or coily, leave it in up to ten minutes. That's the time the moisture needs to sink in.
Is it good for curly, coily and 4C hair?
Yes, that's exactly who it's made for. It softens, detangles and helps define curls without weighing them down.
Does it help with detangling?
Yes. Comb through with your fingers or a wide-tooth comb while it's in. Fewer knots means less breakage, so you keep more of what you grow.
Can I use it on a sensitive scalp?
Yes. It's sulfate-free and focused on soothing. For best results, apply it mainly to your lengths and give your scalp the Raw Batana Oil instead.

Do I need the shampoo and the oil too?
The conditioner works on its own, but it works best after the Batana Shampoo and followed by the Raw Batana Oil. Wash, condition, treat: that's the routine our customers swear by.
Can men use it?
Yes. It works just as well on short hair and beards, especially for softening wiry hair.
